We are thrilled to announce an increase in scholarships for high school seniors who have participated in Odyssey of the Mind!
This year, COU is offering:
- 1 Scholarship of $5,000
- 2 Scholarships of $2,500 each
- 5 Scholarships of $1,000 each
Odyssey of the Mind Scholarships: What You Need to Know!
WHO can apply?
This program is open to Odyssey of the Mind participants who are:
- A high school senior OR a college freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior planning to pursue post-graduate education.
- A U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Planning to attend post-secondary school in the U.S.
- A full-time student in good academic standing.
WHAT is in the application?
As part of the common application, all applicants must:
- Create and submit a short video (max 3 minutes) showing a “beyond the box” solution to ONE of several Creative Scholarship Challenges.
- Write a short essay (max 350 words) about teamwork and how it makes the dream work.
WHEN are the important deadlines?
Application Deadline: March 15, 2025, midnight Eastern
Notification of Results: April 15, 2025
Announcements at World Finals: May 2025
Funds Disbursed: By September 1, 2025
