Team, are you ready? Team, begin!

This declaration brings excitement to thousands of Odyssey of the Mind participants each year. All their hard work is paying off as they share their unique solution at tournament time.

And it’s appropriate that the world’s original problem-solving competition kicks off creativity with the word BEGIN. When we introduce kids to creativity, we start them on a path that helps them become future leaders, innovators and change agents.

Change begins with creativity

You know, you’ve seen it first-hand! Every year, we have the privilege of watching our Northern California youth grow as individuals and team members AND flaunt their talents and smarts. We are thrilled to be able to share this journey with you.

Thank you for being, or having been, a part of Odyssey of the Mind. It’s an honor to know that volunteers, administrators, coaches and students like you are as committed to educational and creative opportunities as we are.

Now, NorCal Odyssey of the Mind is reaching out to you on #GivingTuesday, our national day of philanthropy. We’re celebrating our fourth decade as one of Northern California’s preeminent creative problem-solving competitions. Can you make a gift today to show your appreciation for the program you love?

Creativity enhances lives and helps us build a better future, together. Your generosity is a significant investment in your community.

Odyssey students go places with YOU!

Odyssey of the Mind is so much more than a problem-solving competition. Students who participate in Odyssey of the Mind go places. They are engineers and founders and Broadway performers. They help build a better world based in teamwork, creativity and ingenuity.

“If I could suggest one thing students must try, it is Odyssey of the Mind. Creativity can be learned, and it can be applied everywhere. Nothing has done more to teach me the creative problem-solving skills that I’m going to need in college.”

– Odyssey Alum

Your support helps make Odyssey of the Mind accessible to as many students as possible. We are a completely volunteer-run organization, and all donations go straight to programs and scholarships.
